“Internet law” is not a separate field of law, even though many clients like to summarize their problems on the Internet in this way. It is not a clearly delimited field of law, but there are several aspects of other fields of law which are summarized here: Starting with general contract law, European law, e-commerce and data protection law are only a few of the key points. Media and telecommunications law find their interface in Internet law. Also to be considered here is the general right of personality, which can already be violated faster than many users take into consideration.
